Blogindiana - Morning Session Round-up

Published by admin under Uncategorized

Welcome back!

It took forever to get here this morning. Our hotel was on the west side of Indy and there was a triathalon today that was pretty mug impossible to get around. It took forever to find a way to IUPUI, especially since neither of us know the area very well.

The first morning session was pretty good. It was about how to be more productive and manage your time better. I really enjoyed it an learned about a lot if new cool tools I can use to stay organized and get things done. Steve Abel was an excellent presenter and I’ll Definately be checking out the Content Wrangler.

The second season was about tracking analytics and using the data to target future blog entries as well generate more traffic and business leads. Good stuff. Pat East was an excellent presenter.

So, so far the sessions have been more informative and useful than the first sessions yesterday.

Now, I’m chilling and eating the delicious double chocolate cookies.

Blogging Indiana - First Morning

Woke up around 7:30. Entirely to early for a Saturday if you ask me. Body clock is slightly off because of the time difference. My body wants to know why I’m up at 6:30.

I slept pretty good. Hotel bed was very comfy and cozy. Turned in pretty early. Without a laptop there wasn’t much to do and there wasn’t much on TV

I’m down here with 2 co-workers from my company - Nichole and Nathan.

Nichole and I rode down together. It was a quick drive and we had lots of interesting conversation. Once we checked in we walked tow restaurant next to the hotel called Kazablanka for dinner.

It was a strange place, sports bar meets typical greek restauarant. Food was okay. I had a strip steak; it was fattier than I would have liked but it was still pretty good.

After that we just chilled in the room and watched TV, surfed the web until bedtime.

Now it’s time for breakfast. Stay tuned for updates during the conference.

View from the Hotel Room. Kinda looks like Valpo, pretty much.
